Time: 2 hour synchronous training
Purpose: This presentation, based on a needs analysis, to help participants successfully implement visual supports. This training provides a four-step framework for using visual supports effectively in their own environment. The training begins with a brief review of visual supports, then dives into the four steps of the framework. After each step is introduced, they will have time to complete that part of their action plan. By the end of the training, all participants will leave with a completed, personalized plan ready to implement.

Preschool Core Board Training

Target Audience: District Preschool Special Education Educators (Teachers and Paraeducators)
Time: 1.5 hour synchronous training
Purpose: Responding to direct requests from a local school district's preschool teachers, this training was developed to equip both teachers and paraeducators with essential knowledge and practical skills for implementing core boards. The program provides foundational information on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies, followed by in-depth instruction on light-tech core boards. The training uniquely incorporates current staff video examples, dedicated hands-on practice with materials, and collaborative planning time for teams to develop immediate implementation strategies.
